1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ImpactBee ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Platform Description

ImpactBee is a funding and verification platform that connects corporate sponsors with food banks. The Platform facilitates financial transactions, impact tracking, and digital certificate issuance to provide transparent, verifiable proof of social impact.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • One organization may maintain one active account on the Platform.

4. Food Bank Obligations

Food banks using the Platform agree to:

  • Provide accurate operational data for impact verification.
  • Use received funds for the stated program purposes.
  • Complete the Know Your Business (KYB) verification process.
  • Maintain accurate records of meal distribution and food operations.

5. Corporate Sponsor Obligations

Corporate sponsors using the Platform agree to:

  • Provide valid payment information for sponsorship transactions.
  • Use impact certificates and reports in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Not misrepresent the nature or extent of their contributions.

6. Payments and Fees

  • Payments are processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms of service.
  • RLUSD transactions are processed on the XRP Ledger and are subject to network fees.
  • The Platform may charge a service fee on transactions, which will be disclosed before payment.
  • All payments are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.

7. Impact Certificates

Digital impact certificates issued through the Platform represent verified records of sponsorship and impact. While we strive for accuracy, certificates are based on data provided by food banks and verified through our platform processes. Certificates are not transferable securities and do not represent financial instruments.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by ImpactBee. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our prior written consent. Your organization retains ownership of the data you submit to the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImpactBee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
